Making ice cream

So since getting my ice cream maker I've tried making pumpkin frozen yogurt which turned out kind of not great, then about a week ago I tried making ice cream but without actual cream, it was just whole milk which in itself is a treat since I normally drink 1%. The flavor was good but it didn't have a creamy consistency at all. Tonight I mixed the ingredients for ice cream again and did add cream but not as much as the recipe called for. I thought I'd see how it turns out this way before I do it the fully fattening way.

I want to try this recipe next for sure. I got it from a friend of mine that is an expert baker and ice cream maker. It's roasted banana ice cream. Here are some pics of her batch.

And after the roasted banana ice cream I want to try this one. It's frozen yogurt using Fage. It's supposed to be as good as Pinkberry!
