Oh Christmas Tree, oh Christmas tree... oh wait, it's still August!

No, you aren't crazy, yes these are Christmas fabrics. I am already starting to think of Christmas crafts. I'm hoping to participate in the craft fair I've done for the past two years again. I've got several ideas, I can't wait to start working on them!

I love this one! It's like the cartoon of Christmas on Mad Men!

I love the colors of this one, it's fun and funky! It makes me think of Whoville!
Obviously I like the combination of pink along in with the traditional green and red. If you remember my table runner from last year it shouldn't be a surprise! (Teresa- I've got some fabrics set aside for you if you still want a table runner like the one I made last year)

The last pic is of some fabrics that I just really liked, I had to add them to my stash! they scream summer to me!

I decorated

My white Christmas tree! I picked and chose some of my favorite ornaments that weren't too big or heavy. It's just what I wanted!
I will eventually be stripping and repainting this little bookshelf but here it is decorated for Christmas. Since I have a tiny little tree I added some more ornaments down the banister of my stairs. It just adds a little sparkle I can see from the couch since the tree is behind the couch.

A greener Christmas

This is another draft I had saved last week or so. Budgets are tighter this Christmas, and people are thinking about living a greener lifestyle too. Here is a way to combine both of those things! I can think of one person I know in particular that would probably use this!
Go here to see how to make this pom-pom.

My Christmas tree

I'll decorate it some time later this week, it's a 3 foot tall prelit white tinsel tree, I love it. I have always wanted to have one of these and what better time than now? I don't want to deal with a real tree so this is the next best thing. It should turn out pretty cute when I'm done with it. at least I hope so.

Festive candleholders

I've had a gift certificate to Pottery Barn for almost a year and I finally used it last night. I saw these candle holders there one day with my mom and decided I liked them. I like that they have sort of a vintage feel to them. I got one in the turquoise color, one in the red and one in silver. I have great visions for them but I don't have a table to put them on yet, so my ugly countertop will have to do.
