Not so useless information

I have been reading my Real Simple magazine this morning while being on hold and dealing with tech support for my stupid wireless connection. I love having wireless but at the same time it's a pain in the butt. Argh. Anyways, I ran across something interesting in my magazine. Go to google.com/alerts and you can enter in anything you want to get notices in your email box anytime that item is mentioned online. For instance if I want to see when someone mentions my name or my blog I can get a notice about it. Kind of cool. Good for keeping track of information about myself online.
