So today I had an interview at a design firm that I have long wanted to work at. I got lucky and my quilting instructor happens to be the neighbor of the principle and owner of said firm and passed along my resume and mini portfolio.
It was the best interview because I absolutely loved her and would LOVE to work there. Worst because they are not hiring. :(
I really felt a connection with most of what she said and feel like I really fit the idea of what kind of firm they have built.
I felt a bit overdressed though, I was in my black interview suit and she was in jeans because it's casual Friday.
Man oh man. I'm at a loss for words!
