In the last couple of years I've started really loving the color pink. I think it originates from being on my own and being able to explore doing whatever I want to decorate my place. If I want a pink bedroom there isn't a man there to complain about it. So there.
Anyways- I was blog perusing this morning and came across this image on a blog called A Creative Mint.
I thought to myself, now that would be a pretty fabric to use to make a pillowcase for my bedroom. referring to the one under the ball of yarn with the pink peacock feathers. I was inspired to make myself a pillowcase from the images in this post from last week sometime. Here's a picture in case you don't feel like clicking on the link.
So I proceeded to log on to Etsy to see if I could find the pretty pink peacock feather fabric (try to say that five times fast). I found it! Unfortunately it's Liberty of London which I don't have any personal experience with but hear lots of good things about it. The unfortunate part is that it's super expensive. Just a fat quarter is $8.75 on this particular website. Now I will be on the lookout for this fabric, hopefully for cheaper. Oh, and for those of you who don't know what a fat quarter is, it's just a quarter yard of fabric cut so that you get a wider piece.
How cute would this be as a pillow case with a pretty frings or ribbon on the end?
LOVE!
