My weekend

So yesterday I headed to Yuba City to go to a welcome home/birthday party for a friend that just came back from New York. My morning started out pretty stressful but I was able to calm down by the time I got home. I had a great time catching up with my friend who I haven't seen for over three years and with another friend I've known since 7th grade. I hung out with my mom and dad today then headed out around 3pm. I should have known better than to leave that late because the traffic on highway 80 was terrible. I listened to James Taylor almost all the way home so it was not that bad. There is just something about his voice that is calming. I like a lot of his music but there are a couple songs that really get me. I like this one because it makes me think of my friends and family that have been super supportive since August.
