I'm just steaming right ahead with a bunch of the projects I want to accomplish. I have finished the table by the front door, the bookcase and the little kitchen stool. I also found an inexpensive shade at Ikea yesterday to replace the rather large drumshade that was on the light in the living room. I have now had a great idea! I can reuse the drum shade as a pendant light suspended above the kitchen table! I can buy the parts myself at Home Depot and put it together on the cheap. I just need someone that knows how to replace and rewire a fixture. I'm not about to mess around with lighting and electricity. Anyone want to volunteer?
