I got this Barefoot Contessa cookbook from the library and there is so much stuff in it that I want to make! I love watching Ina Garten on the Food Network so I was happy to see that many of her recipes are here in her book.
For my party yesterday I made her savory palmiers. They are just puff pastry, pesto, goat cheese and pine nuts. (See my post below about how to buy just a handful of pinenuts for a recipe) They were a big hit at the party, the picture below is all I have left. They are also super easy to make. Here is the recipe from Food Network.
Mine of course didn't come out quite as pretty as the ones in the picture. Oh well, it was my first time making them.
