Ok, so I haven't done any sewing yet, but this is the layout for my quilt. I chose a light pink sort of textured fabric for the sashing and I'm going to do little squares of matching fabric in between. I can't remember what they are called. There will be pink around the outside of the squares too. I'm hoping to work on it tonight, but it's not looking like it will happen. I'm feeling kind of lazy and it's already 6:00 and I have to make dinner.

I love that sashing much more than the blue, good choice! I think the squares in the middle look great too, you're doing great work!!
love the sashing and adding the square of fabric is great. Cannot wait to see it all complete.
I finished another top yesterday - too many tops done and no quilting - must do something about that soon,
