just an update...

ok, I'll make this quick... I'm at work and have plenty to do. Last night was my last quilting class of the 6 week session. We ended up being there for an extra hour because there was so much else to talk about and learn. I'm not even close to being done with my quilt but at least now I know how to finish it. I'll post some pictures when I have some time. I didn't take any last night but will take some as I finish it. It has turned out pretty cute!
My teacher approached me with a proposal, she is somewhat computer illiterate and isn't so good at figuring things out. So I'm going to teach her how to use microsoft word to enhance the instructions that she does for her classes and start a quilting blog and she is letting me take another class for a different quilt for free! I still had to buy the fabrics and this time I need to buy a pattern. It was quite the last minute add for me, I wasn't planning on starting any more quilts until I finish what I am working on. Oh well, such is the life of a quilter. It's a two night class that starts this upcoming Tuesday.
On another note, my three month probationary period with the placement agency is done, I should find out today if the company is going to keep me and what the terms will be. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
